Eddie Partida
Dr. Eliud “Eddie” Partida is an Assistant Professor of Education at Cal Poly Pomona whose work spans justice-centered teacher preparation, sustainable residency design, and community-rooted STEM learning. As a former Director of Teacher Education and an active scholar-practitioner, Eddie collaborates with districts, educator preparation programs, and community partners to build systems that are joyful, culturally responsive, and built to last.
Eddie’s research and practice combine the strengths of program evaluation, data analysis, and quantitative methods with a deep commitment to humanizing, locally grounded design. He supports partners in making sense of complex systems, illuminating strengths, and building structures that honor the knowledge, culture, and aspirations of the communities they serve.
In PK–12 settings, Eddie has led initiatives that integrate STEM and place-based learning into teacher preparation and district PD, helping educators build learning experiences that connect science to students’ lives, communities, and identities. His scholarship explores how trust, communication, and shared purpose shape durable and equity-centered partnerships.
